JULY 14, 2023
a long time ago, now, we (the ambiguous “conference” entity) solicited blogposts by community members to challenge and/or refute mainstream mental healthcare. authors engaged with a round of back-and-forth revisions with co-chairs alma ionescu and shannon pagdon, though we made it a mission to accept near all proposals. these blogposts are being released now as a collection, called cc:Psychiatry. this title was suggested by pr/press chair nika mavrody. and, in fact, feel free to cc this along to your local clinician.

note! these blogposts were intiailly supposed to be released the weekend of the conference. that’s over two months ago. one could relate the delay in posting to a number of things, but above all the conference director joseph sexton takes accountability for this. it can only be called a shortcoming, or failure, or something else just not good. the authors deserved better. for more, see the foreword.

so without further adieu … 😽😽🙀
